ONCE YOUR BOOKING HAS BEEN CONFIRMED
We require a refundable security deposit to be paid in advance of arrival. You will receive an email 5 days before your stay which will contain a link to make the payment. Once paid your allocation email will be sent to you which give you access to the site. After your stay your deposit will be refunded providing there is no damage. The deposit amount is GBP 251.50 including admin fee. GBP 250 will be refunded.
Staff are on site each day from 8am to 5pm. Please do not hesitate to stop one of them if you need help with anything.
Keys for the patio doors and windows will be made available. Each lodge has been supplied with several bins liners, toilet paper, and dishwasher tablets.
Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet.
Please use the sanitary bags provided and then dispose in the general waste bag.
Please do not touch the gas meters.
To alter the heating please use the thermostat on the wall.
Please do not change any settings on the boiler.
Please lock the doors and close the windows when leaving the holiday lodge unoccupied.
Please be aware that the grassed areas are uneven so please take care!
Swimming
Currently swimming is NOT permitted in the Lakes. Your safety is of paramount importance to us! These rules may change in the future and you will be informed on-site of current site regulations.
Lake use
Currently activities in the Lakes are NOT permitted in the Lakes for renters. ie canoeing, boating etc. You may see people using the lake for such activities which are lodge owners. These rules may change in the future and you will be informed on-site of current site regulations.
Quiet Time
Whilst we wish you to enjoy your stay with us. Be aware there is a quiet policy in place on the park. In order not to disturb other renters or lodge owners. After 10pm please keep the noise down (with exception of park arranged activities) , no loud music or parties. Please do not break this rule. Repeat offenders will be asked to leave.
Pets
Pets are only permitted in lodges with advance notice and in those lodges which have been designated as such. There is a pet charge. Pets must ALWAYS be kept on leads when outside the lodges. Pets are not allowed upstairs. Pets are not permitted on the furniture and should not be left alone within the lodge. Please bag your dog waste and dispose of safely and appropriately.
Children
Children must always be accompanied by parents/guardian.
Barbeques
BBQ’s are not currently available for hire although you are welcome to bring your own. We anticipate having BBQs installed for use of guests during 2022. In the meantime if you bring a BBQ, please only use it on the grassed area and not on the decking or anywhere near it. If you bring a disposable BBQ, please ensure it is raised off the grass so as not to cause damage.
Please ensure you dispose of the ashes safely and please take away your BBQ when you leave at the end of your stay. There are also two designated areas for BBQs on the grounds. No Fires are to be started on or around the lodge. Or within the complex.
Smoking
Smoking is NOT permitted within the holiday lodge. Feel free to smoke outside, but please dispose of cigarette ends appropriately. Do not stub out cigarettes on the decking. Ashtrays are provided. Please ask a member of staff if you require one.
Rubbish
Please bag up your rubbish (including dog waste) and leave your tied-up bin bags at the front of your lodge from 8am each day. They will be collected from there. Alternatively, you can take them directly to the bins in the car park.
Vehicle Parking
Vehicles and their contents are left at the owner’s risk. Lodgequest Operations Ltd / Twin Lakes Country Club do not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicles or their contents. Do not park in any other space other than the one allocated to you next to your holiday lodge . Additional vehicles can be parked in the overflow car park
Report a Fault
If the lodge you have booked has any faults, please tell a member of the on-site team during the day at the Keepers Lodge. The telephone number (For Emergencies ONLY) of Mr. Steve Farish or his designee will be provided to you in your lodge upon check in.
Check-out Instructions
Check-out time is 10 am. Please ensure that all the lights are off, the windows and doors are locked. Place patio keys back in top kitchen draw and put your front door key back in the key box. Please load and turn on the dishwasher or wash the pots before you check out.
Lost Property
Property that is left on the premises will be kept for a period of one month, after which it will be disposed of. For property to be reclaimed, a detailed description of the item(s) and/or proof of ID (identity), and date that the item was left will be required.
While every effort will be made to identify the possible owner of lost property (which is likely to involve searching of the item) and then make contact with them, Lodgequest will not return the property to that person unless they provide the details set out in the previous paragraph. All items will be sent back at owner's risk and cost.
Hot tubs
Please read the Hot Tub rules sheet and abide by the guidelines.
The hot tubs are designed for a maximum of six people at a time. Lodgequest will be checking the hot tub chemical levels every day. This only takes a matter of seconds unless we need to adjust the levels. We will do our best not to disturb you during this process.
Eco Friendly
Please DO NOT use any bleach or chemicals in the lodge, our sewerage is an “Eco system” any chemically based product can damage this. “Eco Friendly” products can be easily purchased locally from Booths and Tesco.
Fire
In case of fire. Call the fire service on 999. Then call the management on 07496391931 or call out phone 07432054022. Your lodge has been issued with a fire extinguisher and fire blanket, located in the cupboard under the stairs. There are fire assembly points around the park. Please take time to locate these when you arrive. Once you have raised the alarm vacate your lodge and assemble at one of these. A member of staff will meet you there.
